Local Area
The White Hart is located on the edge of Flitton Moor, a local nature reserve, and is perfectly positioned to pop in, whilst walking, to relax with a drink and a bite to eat.
Just over the road from the White Hart is St John the Baptist church, home of the De Grey Mausoleum.
The annual Flitton Potato Race is always entertaining. The day concludes with a bbq and entertainment in the pub garden at The White Hart.
Other local places of interest include Wrest Park (2 miles), Woburn Safari Park (5 miles) and Bletchley Park (12 miles) - home of the WW2 codebreakers.
The History
The White Hart dates back to between 1700-1750 and was part of the Wrest Park Estate until 1918.
The Campbell family bought the pub in February 2018. Having been keen to open a restaurant for many years, they were delighted to find this hidden gem in such a picturesque Bedfordshire village.
